How do I get the library?

You can download p5.party.js from the latest release on Github.

You can also link to the built library using a CDN.

https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/p5.party@ + version+/dist/p5.party.js

For example, here is a url to a specific version:

https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/dist/p5.party.js

For another example, here is a url that always points to the latest release:

https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/p5.party@latest/dist/p5.party.js

If you need the source files of the library or the official examples, you can clone the repo on Github.

Can I make a real-time fast-action game?

Fast-action multiplayer games are inherently complex. Compensating for network latency requires prediction and reconciliation strategies which are somewhat application specific and outside the scope of p5.party. That said, depending on your specific game requirements you might be able to get a prototype running to test out early ideas.

What other libraries is this compatible with?

p5.party was built with p5.js in mind, but you don't need p5.js to use it. Without p5.js, use the p5party functions, like p5party.connect() and p5party.loadShared(), with any JavaScript library you like. See [Using p5.party without p5.js](https://justinbakse.notion.site/Using-p5-party-without-p5-js-3fcb1bb21cec81869935fc26321e6d1e).

Can I remove or insert a value in the middle of an array?

Yes. You can use splice on an array property of a shared object. Just a note, p5.party treats the operation as replacing the entire array with a new one and will send the entire array's data over the wire to sync.
