It’s such a headache when clients want colorful black. That’s why CMYK (the game) is here. CMYK is a multiplayer game that is meant for the most rewarding and seamless experience of collective colorful-black-making — those who make it happen will earn extra scores. Pro tips: Never a bad idea to collaborate. But don’t mess up others’ work!
The mechanism of CMYK was based on the color theory for printing (CMYK) and inspired by the way the dot matrix printer works. Each player is assigned to a primary-colored dot (a C/M/Y cartridge), and there are colored spots waiting to be filled in. The overlay of different primary colors will result in new colors. So players can mark the spots with colors depending on the mix of primary colors. Players will receive scores, which might vary, once they fill in the spots with the designated color. In the end, the player with the highest score wins.
